Patient presented with acute chest pain radiating to the left arm, diaphoresis and shortness of breath. ECG showed ST-segment elevation consistent with acute myocardial infarction. Emergency PCI was performed with stent placement in the LAD. Post-procedure course was uneventful; patient placed on dual antiplatelet therapy, beta-blocker and high-intensity statin.
